SkyVision: A new era in entrepreneurial learning

IESE recently hosted a test session of the SkyVision Entrepreneurship Simulation, an interactive business simulation led by Professor Jeroen Neckebrouck in collaboration with IESE's Learning and Innovation Unit. This hands-on experience placed participants in the role of corporate entrepreneurs, making strategic decisions on pricing, marketing, and operations to build a scalable sports drone business. How Amazon shaped perception through entrepreneurial framing

A new study co-authored by Professor Yuliya Snihur examines how Amazon’s early framing strategies (1995-2003) influenced media and financial analyst perceptions of its novel value proposition. The research highlights key trade-offs for ecosystem orchestrators in balancing their messaging for different audiences. Over time, Amazon reduced leadership framing, increased abstraction, and maintained familiarity emphasis. Financial analysts resonated with growth potential, while media focused on real-world impact.
