IESE PMD
IESE’s Program for Management Development (PMD) is a rigorous learning journey designed to boost your decision making and ability to lead, coordinate, manage and inspire others. You’ll grow as a leader and gain skills to excel in general management.
In this five-month journey, you’ll strengthen your grasp of business fundamentals, business strategy and execution, and learn how to unite
others around common goals. Structured in three weekly residential modules and two online intermodules, the program is aimed at experienced senior managers, functional directors, recently appointed GMs, and entrepreneurs with 8 plus years of managerial experience, with the desire to step up and deliver greater impact to their organizations.
The PMD gathers high-caliber participants from an array of industries, functions and nationalities, offering novel insights to bolster your leadership and ability to navigate market complexity. Guided by IESE’s world-renowned faculty, it delves into artificial intelligence, sustainability, geopolitics and other pressing issues shaping global business today.

The program covers the key leadership competencies to accelerate your path to top management in a relatively short period of time. IESE also offers the Executive MBA in English for candidates with similar professional profiles. The Executive MBA is a part-time program carried out over a period of 18 months at one of four campuses: Barcelona, Munich, Madrid or São Paulo.
IESE offers the Program for Management Development (PMD) program at the Barcelona campus with a fall and spring edition. There is also the ISE PMD Brazil in São Paulo.
The Program for Management Development (PMD) does not require candidates to take any specific standardized test. The admission process is done through an interview in which your profile is assessed. The Admissions Committee then reviews your application before making a final decision.
At IESE, we organize several Open Days each year so that you can get a first-hand look at our facilities and, above all, our learning methodology. You can find a list of the upcoming Open Days here.
IESE offers all participants the Global Student Loan Program, a financing alternative in collaboration with Banco Sabadell. Candidates who are currently paying into the Spanish social security system can also take advantage of the economic incentive PIF.
